Butler city memorabilia store now open
Monday Morning Collector — a new sports card, Pokemon and memorabilia store located at 115 W Cunningham St. in Butler — is ready to help build collections for hobbyists, or buy from your existing collection.
The business, which opened Dec. 2, specializes in graded cards, with over 1,000 in stock at any given time, according to owner Jim Musloe.
“We are definitely picking up,” Musloe said. “The first month was really good because of the holidays and it’s carried through. Over the past few weeks I have seen an increase from week to week.”
Monday Morning Collector also has a variety of vintage sports cards from the 1950s, as well as 1990s Pokemon cards.
Musloe said the business is always interested in buying collections from the public and will provide free estimates on those cards.
In the future, Musloe said he is looking to host trade nights where fellow collectors can come in and trade cards with each other.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
