Tom Zarnick Sr. passed away on his 90th birthday on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Born April 6, 1934, he was the last surviving sibling of 10 children. Tom passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean, who passed away in February 2021.

He retired in 1992 following a long tenure at Armco Steel. He was a lifetime member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church where he sang in the choir.

He enjoyed coaching his three boys for many years in South Butler baseball and was an avid golfer. Tom and Jean made many lifelong friends enjoying their retirement while hiking and golfing in Florida and Arizona.

He is survived by his son, Tom Jr, and wife, Debbie, of Cranberry; his son, Jeff and wife, Johanne, of New Market, Md.; his son, Steve and wife, Susan, of Seattle, Wash.; and five grandchildren, Tommy III and wife, Jenny, Courtney, Lindsey, Ethan and Konrad.

ZARNICK — Friends of Tom Zarnick Sr., who died Saturday, April 6, 2024, will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. Butler.

Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
