Keystone Safari’s egg drop back on for April 6-7

Easter may have already passed, but there is still one more chance to hunt for Easter eggs.

After a week’s postponement due to unfavorable weather, Keystone Safari in Grove City will hold its second annual Egg Drop event on April 6 and 7.

During this event, over 16,000 Easter eggs, filled with candy and small toys, will be dropped out of a helicopter for guests to retrieve at various times of the day on both Saturday and Sunday. On both days, drops will occur at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

For safety reasons, guests will not be allowed in the drop area until the helicopter has left.

Keystone Safari, which bills itself as the largest zoological facility in Western Pennsylvania, opened for the season on March 30. It is currently open on weekends only until Friday, April 19.
