Phyllis A. (Shannon) Myers, of Butler, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

She was born in Carlisle, Pa., on Aug. 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Roy R. and Mary E. Shannon.

Phyllis married the love of her life, Richard K. Myers, on Aug. 4, 1960. For 63 years, Phyllis and Richard enjoyed their life together, especially cruise ship vacationing, reading, moviegoing, exploring new restaurants, antiquing and playing bridge with friends.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, who passed away Dec. 19, 2023; two brothers and a sister.

MYERS — According to her wishes, there will be no viewing for Phyllis A. (Shannon) Myers, who died Wednesday, March 27, 2024. The funeral will be private at a later date, with interment in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
