Hoover

Bonnie Martina (Chronister) Hoover, 70, of Portersville, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Born on Oct. 9, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Edith (Bauder) Chronister.

Martina loved dogs, bird-watching, the outdoors, yard work and laughing. Above all, she loved her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Martina leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Lonnie Hoover, they were married on Dec. 19, 1970; their two children, Joy (Adam) Schawalder of Cape Coral, Fla., and Matthew (Christine) Hoover of Beaver Falls, Pa.; and her six grandchildren, Hunter Schawalder of Cape Coral, Fla., Capt. Connor Schawalder of Fort Bliss, Texas, Payne Hoover of West Virginia University-Morgantown, W.Va., and Camden Hoover, Saeryn Hoover and Adalyn Hoover of Beaver Falls, Pa.

HOOVER — A memorial service for Bonnie Martina (Chronister) Hoover, who died Wednesday, March 27, 2024, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martina's honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
