Ann Marie (Pajakowski) Rotge, 71, of Slippery Rock, died on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Public Hospital in Timaru, New Zealand, with her husband and hospital staff by her side.

She was born in South Bend, Ind., on July 12, 1952, to the late Roman Pajakowski and Henrietta (Lewinski) Pajakowski.

She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1970, and Ball State University in 1973 and 1974 with two collegiate degrees. She was the librarian at the high school in Tipton, Ind., from 1974 to 1978. She married Larry Rotge in 1974, and they moved to Slippery Rock in 1978, where she eventually became office manager for Land Surveyors Inc. from 1979 until she retired in 2008. She spent the last 16 years happily with her husband in Slippery Rock, and as they traveled to other parts of the world.

She is survived by her husband; her sister, Phyllis (Pajakowski) Largey and her husband, Michael; her brother, Mark Pajakowski and his wife, Deborah; niece, Amy (Pajakowski) Kominkiewicz and her husband, Ryan, with their children, Drew and Devon; and nephew, Alex Pajakowski and his wife, Staci. Additionally, there are many cousins.

ROTGE — Funeral Mass for Ann Marie (Pajakowski) Rotge, who died Sunday, March 10, 2024, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, with Father Adam Verona as celebrant.

There will be a memorial Mass for her at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, at St. Jude Church in South Bend, Ind., with Father John Delaney as celebrant.
