Vitalant holding 4 blood drives in Butler County in April
April is National Donate Life Month, which takes on more importance with each passing year as thousands of patients wait in hospitals for the day when they receive a blood or organ donation.
As part of National Donate Life Month, the nonprofit organization Vitalant is holding four blood drives in Butler County this April.
Three will be held in Cranberry Township. The first is set for April 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church on Rochester Road. The second takes place April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church on Franklin Road. The third is scheduled for April 29 from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Cranberry Mall.
The other blood drive will be held near the Butler Eagle printing plant on West Wayne Street in Butler on April 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
