Zelienople library to host programs for adults in April

The Zelienople Area Public Library, 227 S. High St., has announced its programs for adults planned in April.

On Wednesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. the library will host “TV Talk” where residents can come and talk about their favorite TV and movies.

On Saturday, April 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. the library will host a Genealogy Lock-in, which will include local experts giving information on photographs and genealogy.

On Saturday, April 13, starting at 1 p.m. the library will host “Prior to Passing” presented by Eliabeth Erbrecht, an end of life specialist, death doula and licensed massage therapist for hospice. The topics will include personal and practical tips such as documents to include in your death file, living wills and nurturing touch for the dying.

On Wednesday, April 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. the library will be hosting attorney Sarah Hancher, of Hancher Law Offices, for an “Ask an Attorney Event.” Hancher will give a brief presentation and allow for questions. To register for the event call the library at 724-452-9330 or email zaplib@bcfls.org to find an available time slot.

On Friday, April 19, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. the library will host a “Books & Brushes” event where participants can create a piece of book artwork under the direction of Lauren Shorr, from Curio Art Studio. Cost of the event is $50 per person. Register at the library between now and April 15.
