Police reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Feb. 26 — Tanya M. Thomas, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and summary harassment. Police said she banged on the windows and doors of a residence multiple times despite being told to desist.

Cranberry Twp

Feb. 22 — Austin A. Gaetano, 18, of Glenshaw, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found with THC vape pens and cartridges, a glass smoking pipes, a metal grinder, rolling papers, pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, a digital scale and suspected marijuana.

Jackson Twp

Feb. 26 — Nathan D. Leasher, 37, of Harmony, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped him on Evans City Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC and fentanyl in his system.

State police, Butler

Feb. 29 — Bradley S. Wainwright, 31, of Evans City, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on East New Castle Street, Zelienople. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.167%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 27 — Travis C. Sanderson, 34, of Slippery Rock, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 26 on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety test showed traces of THC and buprenorphine in his system. Police said a small amount of marijuana was also found in Sanderson’s possession.

Feb. 26 — James E. Acquavita, 63, of Butler, was charged with felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dunham’s in Center Township.

Feb. 26 — Lucas M. Murtaugh, 43, of Aliquippa, was charged with felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Sportsman’s Supply in Summit Township.

Feb. 26 — Reid E. Simpson, 80, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure. Police said he was seen walking around his property naked.

Feb. 24 — Mark Jasmine, 74, of Sarver, was charged with felony possession of a prohibited firearm. Police said they discovered no record of sale on a particular firearm in his possession.
