Gealey

Ryan Gealey, 72, of Butler, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Jan. 17, 1952, to the late William and Miriam (Sarles) Gealey. After graduating from Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, Ryan worked at Armco as a janitor for more than 40 years until his retirement. He was a sports fanatic who loved watching the Steelers.

Ryan was loved and will be forever missed. Ryan was the father of Faith Rochez and Grace Byers; brother of Thomas Gealey and Ginny Russo; and grandfather of Alyssa Brown and Judah Byers. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ryan was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gealey.

GEALEY — Family and friends of Ryan Gealey, who died Monday, March 11, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately in Butler County Memorial Park cemetery.
