Jacob Loyal, I miss you. I miss your hugs. I miss your smile. I miss your laugh. I miss your heart. I miss your friendship. I miss you in your entirety.

You were my safety net in this world when it got to be too much, a light in my darkness, joy in sadness, the one who made me laugh as tears streamed down my face.

It’s been three years since I got to laugh and talk and share a hug with my best friend. I can’t wait until I get to see you again, baby cousin. I love you, always and forever.
