Moniteau to hire business manager, acting high school assistant principal
School board members at Moniteau School District voted during a meeting Monday, March 11, to hire a business manager.
Austin Blauser will assume the position Tuesday, March 19, pending paperwork.
According to superintendent Aubrie Schnelle, the district has not had a full-time business manager since November 2022, but has had “an interim business manager since that time.” Last August, Payton Neyman was hired as assistant business manager.
Monday evening, board members also recommended approval of Richard Cavett as acting high school assistant principal at Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School starting April 29.
Schnelle said Cavett served as acting elementary school principal for a few months during the 2021-2022 school year, until Kevin Boariu assumed the position. He previously worked for the district as assistant high school principal in the ‘90s and retired from Knoch School District as assistant superintendent, Schnelle said.
