Angèle Stoebener appointed to SRU’s council of trustees

Slippery Rock University's council of trustees recently gained a new member.

Angèle Stoebener, a 2006 SRU graduate with a degree in business administration, was appointed to a seat by Gov. Josh Shapiro. Stoebener’s appointment was recently approved by the Pennsylvania Senate.

Stoebener, of Natrona Heights, replaces Suzanne Vessella, who was serving on an expired term.

Stoebener previously served as a trustee from 2004 to 2006, when she filled the one seat on the council designated for an SRU student.

A business credit team leader with First National Bank in Pittsburgh, Stoebener is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the SRU Alumni Association. She is also a graduate from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending and School of Banking.
