Mars Area Centennial School sixth-grader Alena Salvini was one of two students across of Jeter Backyard Theater troupe in Gibsonia recognized with a Performance All-Star Award at the 2024 Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta.
Alena attended the festival and performed 15 minutes from a Broadway Junior show in front of a panel of musical theater experts, portraying Pigtails in Disney’s Newsies, Jr.
