Penn Township beer garden raises funds for kids
A summers-end event at Helltown Taproom’s Penn Township location doubled as a successful fundraiser for ill children.
The Sept. 21 event, which featured food trucks, music by “theCAUSE” and other activities, raised $1,538 for UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
A news release from Helltown said the amount was raised through a live painting auction, donations, and proceeds from sales of DVE Rocks IPA.
The taproom is off Fairway Lane in Penn Township.
