Mars Area Public Library will host author Morgan Longford and her 6-year-old niece Aspen at 10 a.m. Saturday for a book signing and meet-and-greet. The pair collaborated to produce the book “Annie the Adventurer.”

Longford wrote the true-life story of an adventurous young girl who becomes an adventurous old woman. Aspen provided illustrations for the book.

Attendees can buy a book at the event or bring their own copy to be signed. Paperbacks are $10 and hardbacks $20.

A write-your-own adventure exercise also will be held.
