Linda Eileen Naughton, 80, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Franciscan Manor in Patterson Heights after a long illness.

Linda was born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 15, 1943, and was the daughter to the late Michael and Ruth Luteran.

Linda was a member of St. Ferdinand Church in Cranberry Township. She married Bob Naughton on July 15, 1961. Originally from Laurel Gardens, they built a home in Callery and later moved to Freedom Crossing. She volunteered for many years as a teacher’s aide at Mars Elementary School. After retirement, she and Bob volunteered at Cranberry Place Senior Community and for the Pittsburgh Airport Ambassador Program. Linda was an avid traveler and enjoyed planning vacations for her family and many friends. She especially enjoyed trips to Hawaii and cruises to Alaska. Bob and Linda spent many summer weekends at Skyview Campground in Mercer. She loved to watch her grandson’s sports and practices. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 63 years, Bob Naughton; her children, Susan (Robert) Beckey of New Brighton and Edward (Nazila) Naughton of Ashburn, Va.; her grandsons, Samuel (Haley) and Jacob Beckey and Ian Naughton; and her siblings, Edward Luteran and Ruth Martin.

NAUGHTON — Friends of Linda Eileen Naughton, who died Wednesday, July 24, 2024, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to beavercountyhumanesociety.org.
