Cherry Valley Borough Council adopted its 2024 budget that maintains the current real estate tax rate of 1.5 mills.

The budget includes $46,745 in cash, checking accounts and investments, and $17,171 in estimated revenue, which includes $8,250 from taxes and $8,236 from the state liquid fuel tax. Total available funds are $63,916.

Expenses include $15,000 for road maintenance, $5,685 for general government and $2,00 for snow removal. Total estimated expenses are $23,485. Council adopted the budget Dec. 12.
