Vicario 60th anniversary
Larry and Charlene Vicario of Butler Township will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family gathering at their home.
They also are planning a celebratory cruise in the summer.
Vicario married the former Charlene Nauman on Dec. 28, 1963, at St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago.
They have three children, Mark Vicario, of Airville, Pa.; Laura Vicario Brink, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and David Vicario of Butler.
They also have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Vicario retired from a federal government position.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora and the Butler Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Vicario also coordinated the Veterans Day Parade and Memorial Day Parade in Butler in years past, along with the former Safety Parade and other parades.
Mrs. Vicario is a housewife and retired home health caregiver.
She is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Unit 778 in Lyndora.
The Vicarios are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
