PITTSBURGH — The University of Pittsburgh has hired Kade Bell as the football team’s new offesive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Bell directed Western Carolina’s offense the past three seasons. The Catamounts led all of FCS with 504.1 yards per game this season, were third with 321.12 yards passng per game and fourth with 37.5 points per contest.

Western Carolina led the Southern Conference in eight offensive categories and set a school record with 5,454 total yards.
