Moniteau boys top A-C Valley

Andrew Zepeda scored 13 points and Chason Delarosa-Rugg added 11 as Moniteau’s boys basketball team defeated A-C Valley, 48-39, Wednesday night.

Delaros-Rugg scored nine of his points in the fourth quarter.

Brody Dittman scored 16 points for A- C Valley.

Wrestling

Knoch (1-0) picked up a 42-33 win in its first dual meet of the season Wednesday night at Mars. The battle came down to the final match, with Brady Pflugh cementing the team victory with a win by fall.

Wyatt Foster, Parker Anderson, and Brayden McGowan also won by fall, while Miranda Lajevic, Braylee Ireland, and Jarrett Crowe won via forfeit.

Bowling

Kelsee McConnell put together a 604 series with games of 202-201-201 on Tuesday to lead the Butler girls (2-0) to a 7-0 win over Rochester. Makenzie Zimmerman had a 191-505 for the Golden Tornado.

Butler’s boys improved to 1-1 with a 7-0 triumph. David Shever rolled a 209-592 while Micah Potts had a 531 series and Greg Wilbert a 517.

Freeport 7, Apollo-Ridge 0 — Kylie McConahy rolled a 286 game and 651 series to lead the girls win. Mackensie Livingston rolled a 234 game and 611 series while Hannah Windows had a 233-565.

Christian Como led the Yellowjacket boys with a 188 game and 487 series. Colin Cummings had a 480 series.
