East Butler Presbyterian Church is hosting a Blessing of the Pet Photos and Pet Rocks ceremony from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Gather at the church on the corner of 9th and Randolf streets in East Butler to create, name and adopt pet rocks.

Participants will learn about St. Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint of animals and his prayer for creation at the event.
