Good Samaritan Hospice will host Fishing with Your Grandparents on Grandparents Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at the pond behind Concordia at Cabot’s Lund Care Center, 134 Marwood Road, Jefferson Township. Use entrance 4 to the center.

The community is invited to participate in the free Youth Bereavement Care event.

Free bait, small crafts and free food also will be available at the fishing event.

Fishing licenses are not required for those younger than 16, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

While a limited number of fishing poles will be on hand to borrow, anglers are encouraged to bring their own gear if possible, as well as lawn chairs or blankets.
