BUFFALO TWP — Gregg Satterlee won the Late Model feature Friday night at Lernerville Speedway, but it is the points race there that is attracting attention.

Michael Norris finished second in the feature with Tyler Dietz taking third. Norris moved on front of Dietz in the Late Model points standings, 328-326, with the final night of Fab4 points racing slated for this Friday.

Dietz has already clinched the Pro Stock points crown. He is trying to become the first driver to win two points crowns in tje same season at Lernerville since Blackie Watt turned that trick in 1982.

Ralph Quarterson (1971) is the only other driver in the track’s history to win two points championships in the same season.

Carl Bowser won the Sprint feature, but AJ Flick has already clinched the points title in that division.

Brian Swartzlander won the Modified feature. Rex King Jr. has a 23-point lead over Garrett Krummert in the points race there.

The Pro Stock feature was rained out Friday and will be held at a later date.
