The 2023 Penn Township Community Day will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Harcrest Park, 834 Three Degree Road.

Free barbecue chicken dinners, which will include a quarter chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, dessert and drink will be available as long as supplies last.

Free hot dogs will be served as well.

In addition to tickets for food, free tickets for a large- and small-item raffle will be handed out at the park entrance. More chances on the items can be purchased at the event as well.

Hayrides will be provided free by Penn Township farmer Dan Wible and pony rides by the Reichhold family on their popular steed, Clyde.

Raffle baskets and a 50/50 drawing will be available for bidding, and Mark Heider, Middlesex Township police officer, will visit with K-9 officer, Bolt.

Fugh Refrigeration will provide bottled water and the Accord Dairy Queen will donate ice cream treats.

Rath Farms will send a large tractor for perusal by adults and children, and Hobby Express will hold a hands-on booth with radio-controlled vehicles.

A bounce house and other entertainment will be available for children, and a sound system will provide music for the event.

Many booths and vendors will set up at Community Day as well.

All are welcome to attend.
