Petrosky

Nina A. Petrosky, 69, of Saxonburg, passed away on May 18, 2023, at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Born June 4, 1953, in Donora, Pa., she was the daughter of Louis Garcia and Elvie Lahti Garcia.

Nina worked in the medical billing department for Harmarville Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg and Natrona Heights 864 Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed crafting, painting, drawing, vacationing in Sanibel Island and making frequent trips to Amish country in Ohio. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years, David Petrosky; her son, Mark (Cathie) Petrosky of Saxonburg; her son-in-law, Chris Durish of Butler; her niece, Christie (Robert) Pierce of Harmony; her great-niece, Lydia Pierce; and her brother-in-law, Charles (Connie) Doughty.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Melanie Durish; and her sister, Linda Doughty.

PETROSKY — Friends of Nina A. Petrosky, who died Thursday, May 18, 2023, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Galica officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of her sister and daughter.
