Katherine Little
Katherine A. Little, 49, of Erie, formerly of Maryland, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Kathy was born on Sept. 20, 1973, and was the daughter of the late Doyle R. Little and Ruth Ann Allgeier.
She was the beloved sister of Brenda (Tim) Thoma, Raymond Little and Doyle Little Jr.; and the aunt of April Little, Amanda Hinton, RJ Lewis, Dylan Little, Laurie Little, Valerie Little, Rachel Thoma, Ryan Thoma and Conner Bronson. She also had seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
Kathy was free spirited, life-loving and the life of the party. She loved to make people laugh. Everything she did was always one thousand folds strong. This included the love of her animals (Kip, Wrigley, Logan and Mila), playing games (Pinochle, Monopoly, Triominos and Rummikub), participating in outdoor activities (kayaking, Cedar Point excursions, road trips and pet-friendly ventures), listening and singing to music (old school, rap and pop), and even her work.
Kathy’s can-do and free-living personality flourished wherever she went. She was always ready for karaoke and invariably inclusive in everything she did. Kathy also had an incredible work ethic and independence. This included working on her Excel documents and crunching numbers, providing help in any way she could, along with being able to own her dream car and home, and doing everything to the best of her ability. Kathy’s most memorable attributes were to make the best out of any situation and always have a good time.
We would like to thank Jessica Melchek Kunkel for being a great friend and showing the true meaning of friendship. We also would like to thank the nurses at Allegheny General Hospital, Jordan and Jessica from the MICU and Kelly for their assistance in her final days.
