Wylie

Chester A. Wylie, 69, of Saxonburg, passed away on May 16, 2023, while working on the family farm.

Born June 22, 1953, in Saxonburg, he was the son of Howard “Sonny” Wylie and Helen M. Wylie.

Chester was a self-employed truck driver, and was a member of Teamsters Local 341. He was also a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sarver.

He enjoyed farming, hunting, snowmobiling and cutting firewood.

Surviving are his siblings, Arthur Wylie of Saxonburg, Carl Wylie of Saxonburg, Nancy Wylie of Cabot, Betty (Donald) Wagner of Sarver and Doris (David) Ott of Sarver; two nieces, Vicki Kunkle, Sonny Ott; and one nephew, Denver Ott.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Glenn Wylie.

WYLIE — Friends of Chester A. Wylie, who died Tuesday, May 16, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robin Swinsburg officiating.

Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
