Jon B. “Big Jon” Homison, 61, of Slippery Rock, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at home.

Born on April 20, 1961, in Grove City, Jon was the son of the late Andrew George Homison Jr. and the late Dorothy May Krebs Homison.

Jon drove a truck and helped out at the Rock House Bar.

He always enjoyed putting off firework shows, camping, and dining out.

Jon is survived by four brothers, Steven (Terri) Homison of Butler, and Michael (Bonnie) Homison, Mark Homison and Frank (Yvonne) Homison, all of Slippery Rock; and many nieces and nephews.

Jon was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew; and his sister, Barbara A. Homison Everly, who passed away on Nov. 26, 2022.

HOMISON — A memorial service for Jon B. “Big Jon” Homison, who died Sunday, April 16, 2023, and his sister, Barbara, who passed away in November, will be held Saturday at Homisonville Park followed by a potluck dinner from 5 p.m. until dusk.

Arrangements are under the direction of WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME in West Sunbury.
