Knauf

Dorothy M. Knauf, 99, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, while under the care of Concordia at the Orchard in Butler. She is finally at peace in Heaven with her family that she missed dearly.

Born on Sept. 30, 1923, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Frank W. Knauf and Louise Herold Knauf.

Dorothy was a member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople.

She took great care of her brothers and always looked forward to spending time with her family at farm shows. Dorothy loved gardening and flowers, and will be fondly remembered for always being very witty.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her siblings, Franklin Knauf, Margaret Sharrar, Louise F. Drushel, Clyde Knauf, Arthur Knauf and two infant siblings.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Orchard for their loving care to Dorothy.

KNAUF — A graveside visitation and service for Dorothy M. Knauf, who died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Reformed Church Cemetery, South Oliver Avenue, Zelienople.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
