Scharles

Mary Scharles, 72, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

She was born in Denver on June 15, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Peter and Peggy (Myers) Scharles.

Mary graduated from Englewood High School, and from there she went on to be a CNA for more than 20 years.

She was known for being a great wife and loving mother. In her spare time, she loved to garden and crochet.

Mary was the beloved wife of Frances Myers since their marriage in 2018; and the mother of James Neal, John (Mary Jo) Neal and Angela (Jason) Geibel.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

SCHARLES — Services for Mary Scharles, who died Thursday, April 20, 2023, are being held privately by SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
