Scheerbaum

Bonnie M. Scheerbaum, 86, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

She was born in Butler on Feb. 21, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Emile and Carrie Mae (Mechling) Boulanger.

Bonnie was a Butler High School graduate.

She was known to be tenacious, extremely hardworking, loving, caring, and seemed as if she never met a stranger. She had a passion for horses and animals and was very active in the Western Pennsylvania Draft Horse Association and the Lucky 7 4H. Her family could tell thousands of wonderful stories about “mom and her horses.”

Bonnie was loved by so many. Her smile was contagious, and she will be forever cherished by the family she raised.

She was the mother of Don Jackman Jr., Ed Jackman and Bob (Linda) Jackman.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Paynter; and her brothers, Emile and Eugene Boulanger.

SCHEERBAUM — Family and friends of Bonnie M. Scheerbaum, who died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Her funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately in Rockdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.
