Betty L. Shulik
Betty L. Shulik, 84, of Butler, passed away, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, while residing at the Sunnyview Home.
She was born Jan. 14, 1939, in Sarver, and was a daughter of the late Andrew W. Schmidt and Elma M. (Wetzel) Schmidt.
Betty had worked at Du-Co Ceramics and Associated Ceramics, and had retired from Sunnyview Home after 17 years.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She had enjoyed baking holiday cookies, crafts, quilting, planting flowers around her home, and the companionship of her dogs over the years.
She is survived by her two sons, Bernard W. “Bernie” Shulik and Thomas L. “Tom” (Lezlee) Shulik, both of Butler; one grandson, Thomas J. (Chelsee) Shulik of Butler; her siblings, Helen Skrabak of Washington, Pa., James Schmidt of Sarver, and Carol Wise of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Shulik, who passed away Dec. 22, 1979; and three brothers and two sisters.
SHULIK — Friends of Betty L. Shulik, who died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
