Hilscher

Gregory “Greg” Thomas Hilscher, 35, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Mars, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Surviving are his mother, Colette; his father, Jay; his stepmother, Janice Cramer; his brother, Jay Jr.; and his sister, Lindsay Freeman (Ryan).

Also surviving are numerous aunts and uncles; five nieces and nephews who will sorely miss their Uncle Greg; and five stepbrothers and stepsisters.

He was a 2007 graduate of Mars High School.

He worked at Giorgio’s Place in Pittsburgh.

Greg was known by all to be loyal, selfless, the ultimate entertainer and talented. He was one out of about 12,500 golfers to have ever made a hole-in-one. You could rely on him to catch fastballs behind home plate just like you could count on him to know just the song to get you dancing and he would dance right along with you.

He was so loved and will always be remembered.

HILSCHER — A gathering of the friends and family of Gregory “Greg” Thomas Hilscher, who died Sunday, April 9, 2023, will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Friday at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, Mars.

Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
