Deloris “Dorie” Sarver, 84, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

She was born in Butler on Aug. 16, 1938, and was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Reges) McCune.

Deloris was known for being a great mother, a great wife, hard working, loving and caring. She liked going to bingo and the casino in her spare time. She was loved and will be forever missed.

Dorie was the beloved wife of John Sarver, since their marriage in 1961; and the sister of Edith Sumney and Esther (John) Daly.

She was preceded in death by her children, John Jr. and Brenda; and her siblings, Lawrence, John, Russel, James, Danny, Howard, Raymond, Shirley and Judy.

SARVER — Burial and graveside prayers for Deloris “Dorie” Sarver, who died Thursday, March 30, 2023, were held privately in West Sunbury Cemetery.

Arrangements were through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
