Bonnie Bolten

Bonnie Lou McKinnis Bolten, 80, of Butler, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at the St. John Specialty Care Center.

She was born May 17, 1942, in Prospect, the daughter to the late Howard Merl McKinnis and the late Helen L. Barnhart McKinnis.

Bonnie worked in her earlier years for Bobbie Brooks and she was a homemaker. Bonnie was a member of Hill United Presbyterian Church.

Bonnie is survived by her one son, Jamie M. Bolten and his wife, Victoria, of Renfrew; one sister, Edna Mae Knauer of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Crawford G. "Dook" Bolten, whom she married on Oct. 1, 1965, and who passed away on Feb. 22, 2023; one son, Scott Michael Bolten; six sisters; and one brother.

BOLTEN — Friends of Bonnie Lou McKinnis Bolten, who died Friday, March 31, 2023, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 East North St., Butler.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Reverend Leigh Benish officiating.

Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity or to the Butler Human Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
