Hilliard

Frederick Hilliard, 67, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

He was born in Butler on Oct. 21, 1955, and was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Musik) Hilliard.

After attending Butler High School, he worked at Waste Management and BFI for over 40 years, until retirement.

Fred was known for having a big heart, being a hard worker, caring, giving, a good friend, dad and brother. He liked collecting antiques, going flea marketing, fishing and had enjoyed casinos. He was loved and will be forever missed.

Fred was the father of Chad (Erica) Hilliard, Kristin Hilliard and Tyrone Hilliard; brother of Frank (Sheryl) Hilliard, Carl Hilliard and Tammy (Brian) Lindsay; and was the grandfather of Aidan, Emma, Zyian, Kaydan, Chad, Braxton and Arella.

He is also survived by a large and loving family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Travis Hilliard; and his sister, Nancy Brown-Hilliard.
