Frances J. Wyman, 91, of Valencia, formerly of Chestnut Grove and Rochester, Pa., passed away on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023, at Concordia of Cranberry.

Born in Rochester, Pa., on Oct. 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Frances Hinkle Hohl.

Frances was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in education and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was also active in Alpha Delta Pi at Michigan State University.

She was an elementary school teacher in Midland Borough and Beaver County School and several other school districts.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.

Surviving are her husband, Donald P. Wyman, Ph.D., whom she married on June 26, 1954; two sons, Donald P. Wyman (Rebecca) of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jonathan E. Wyman (Lori) of Enola, Pa.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

WYMAN — A private family service for Frances J. Wyman, who died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Pa.

Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
