Grove City hospital to host Fall Prevention Fair

Allegheny Health Network’s Grove City hospital will be hosting a Fall Prevention Fair from 10 a.m. to noon March 31.

The program will be held in Conference Rooms C and D at Grove City Hospital, at 631 N. Broad St. Extension in Grove City.

“Falls are not a normal part of aging, so we want to ensure the community is aware of the available educational resources and options for balance and mobility strengthening, to prevent falls from occurring,” Stephen Hribar, MD, orthopedic surgeon at AHN Grove City Hospital, said.

The Fall Prevention Fair aims to educate attendees about the common risks associated with accidental falls and ways to make their home environments safer.

Each year, millions of Americans age 65 and older fall, which causes serious injuries such as broken bones or head trauma.
