Lawson

Thomas A. Lawson, 70, of Freeport passed away on March 9, 2023, at his home.

Born March 22, 1952 in Butler, he was the son of Morley Lawson and Eunice McCloskey Lawson.

Tom served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a self-employed truck driver. He was an avid race car fan.

Surviving are his daughters, Traci L. Lawson of Bowie, Md., and Becky L. (Greg) Kemper, of Bellevue; two brothers, Larry (Candy) Lawson of Portland, Ore., and Morley (Barb) Lawson of Butler; and five grandchildren, Keon and Kye Barrett, and Logan, Jackson and Mia Kemper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald Lawson and William Lawson; and his niece, Pamela Zulick Lawson.

LAWSON— Family and friends of Thomas A. Lawson, who died Thursday, March 9, 2023, will be received from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Alex Derosa officiating.
