Rep. Stephenie Scialabba, R-12th, was appointed to serve on the House Veterans Affairs and emergency preparedness, education, and housing and community development committees for this legislation season.

In these committees, Scialabba will be work on projects such as recruitment and retention of the state’s emergency responders, issues involving public and private schools and housing legislation.

“I am very pleased with my committee assignments,” Scialabba said. “Each of these committees takes aim at issues I hold near and dear. I’m looking forward to sitting down with my colleagues and getting to work.”
