Kennedy

Kenneth J. Kennedy, 70, of Mars, passed away on Monday morning, March 6, 2023, in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.

Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Sylvia Marie Miller Kennedy.

He was a 1971 graduate of Mars High School, and had served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

Ken was a laborer for Insight Pipe Contracting.

He was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church, and was a life member of the Adams Area Fire District.

Surviving are his wife, Nely V. Marco Kennedy, whom he married June 25, 1976; two daughters, Elizabeth Murphy (John) of Butler and Priscilla Green (Chuck) of Valencia; a son, Jesse Kennedy (Amanda) of Penn Hills; his grandchildren, Sydney and Kaylee Klenk, Alyssa Murphy, Jada, Chuck and Lincoln Green, and Curren and Milo Kennedy; and a great-granddaughter, Penelope Wilton.

He also is survived by his brother, John Kennedy of South Carolina; and his sister, Beverly Kennedy of Florida.

KENNEDY — Private graveside services for Kenneth J. Kennedy, who died Monday, March 6, 2023, will be held at the Mars Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
