March for Babies set for April 16
The March of Dimes will hold its Western & Central PA March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement on April 16 on Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
The annual walk brings communities together to drive awareness and action to address an ongoing maternal health crisis and to fight for the health of all moms and babies.
More than 3,000 people are expected to attend the event at 100 Art Rooney Ave. in Pittsburgh.
Activities will open at 8:30 a.m. and opening ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m. The walk will begin immediately after the opening ceremonies.
If people are interested in supporting the cause, but unable to join the April 16 event, they are encouraged to pick a time that works for them and walk in their local park or neighborhood for the cause.
