Mokel

William M. “Bill” Mokel, 89, of Monroeville, passed away after a wonderful life on Feb. 22, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Carnahan), and had enjoyed 60 years of marriage with her.

He was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

Bill is survived by two sons, William H. Mokel (Donna) and Rick Mokel (Trish); four grandsons, Bill Mokel Jr. (Stacy), Ian Mokel, Brandon Mokel and Brian Mokel; and five great-grandchildren, William III, Jordan, Ava, Kendall and Lainey Mokel.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Darlene Carnahan; his “Sweetie,” Flo Halstead; his faithful friend, Lolo, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was a business owner and a private pilot. He enjoyed traveling, hosting parties, and spending time with his family and friends.

MOKEL — Friends of William M. “Bill” Mokel, who died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike, Monroeville.

Entombment will be private.
