Melinda O. Claypoole, 85, of Grove City, passed peacefully at home on Feb. 22, 2023.

Melinda was born in Karns City on Jan. 12, 1938, to William and Aletha (Early) Boofer.

She married Richard Claypoole on June 28, 1957, who passed away on Aug. 17, 2008.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grove City.

Survivors include two children, Dennis (Michelle) Claypoole and Karen Lawson; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.

CLAYPOOLE — Visitation hours for Melinda O. Claypoole, who died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Crestview Memorial Park.
