Cynthia A. Berteotti-Hawk-Gregory, 68, of Butler, passed away Feb. 4, 2023, surrounded by her family after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.

Cynthia was born on Aug. 31, 1954, to John Berteotti Jr. and Martha M. Geibel Berteotti of Butler County.

After graduating from Karns City Area schools in 1972, she married and dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Cynthia excelled at supporting her family and supporting them through the many passions of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Cynthia was passionate at sewing and cross-stitch in her younger years and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her kitchen watching the Cooking/Food Channel.

She was also an employee of Butler Farm Market, where she took pride in her work for 18 years. Prior to that, she was a seamstress for Bartoli Dry Cleaning in Butler.

We will miss her, and her smile more than words can express.
