Marlene Price


Marlene L. Price, 74, of Herman, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023.

She was born in Butler on Sept. 29, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rita (Geibel) Osche.

Marlene enjoyed traveling, camping, crafting, bowling, playing cards and bingo. She was known for being loving and caring, and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Marlene was a lifetime member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

Marlene was the beloved wife of John Price for over 57 years, since their marriage on Oct. 9, 1965.

She was the mother of Terri (Dean) Widenhofer, Tim (Kim Gray) Price and Carrie Price; sister of Larry (Helen) Osche, Janet (Dale) Wells and Elaine (Bernard) Neff; and the grandmother of Cassian, Kayla, Jessica, Ashley (Jon), Samantha and Laura.

PRICE — A Mass of Christian burial for Marlene L. Price, who died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Parish, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.

Arrangements are through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
