Helen Joan Crawford, 91, of Mars, passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 2, 2023, in the comfort of her home.

Born in Adams Township on June 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Humes Crawford.

Joan had been a secretary for Herr-Voss Corporation in Pittsburgh, and then worked as an assistant manager at Mars National Bank for many years.

She was a member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church.

An avid bowler and golfer, Joan especially loved going to the Casino and traveling.

Surviving are her brother, Robert J. Crawford; and many cousins and friends.

CRAWFORD — Friends of Helen Joan Crawford, who died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Weston officiating.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
