Judith Hoffman
Judith Jean (Zellerino) Hoffman, 75, passed away peacefully while at home with her loving family on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. A woman of tremendous faith, she will rest eternally with her Heavenly Father and visit with those she has missed so much.
Born June 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John and Geraldine (Gerry) Zellerino and a lifelong resident of Butler, Pa.
Judy was a graduate of the Butler High School Class of 1966.
She was a nurse’s aide at Butler Memorial Hospital prior to becoming Vice President of the Hoffman household after marrying Mark Hoffman of Penn Township on Nov.16, 1974. She also worked briefly at the Days Inn, Kmart, and Shop ’n Save in Gibsonia.
Since 1967, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was very active, especially when her daughters were young.
In her free time, Judy enjoyed watching the grandchildren, playing solitaire, coloring, crocheting, word search, ceramics, trips to the casino, and family gatherings.
She is missed already and will forever be in the hearts of those she loved. Anyone who crossed paths with Judy was blessed by her presence and grateful for the time they shared with her.
Judy leaves behind her husband, Mark Hoffman; daughters, Gerri Ann Hoffman of Geneva, Ohio, and Chrissy Pollock and her husband, Mike, of Butler; grandchildren Cooper, Abby and Sawyer Pollock; her sisters, Ruth Ann (Tom) Cook of Butler, Sue (Jay) Sasse of Butler, and Patricia Davis of West Sunbury; her bonus sister, Ginger DiTullio of Butler; brother-in-law George Spinneweber of Butler; her mother-in-law and husband Jean and William Stutz of Butler; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Alice Spinneweber; and brothers, Cyril Gene Fend and John V. Zellerino and his wife, Marlene.
