Beers

Clifford E. Beers, 83, of Callery, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.

Born March 26, 1939, in Callery, he was the son of the late Joseph Beers and Minnie Allison Beers.

Cliff was a member of Crestview Community Church.

He retired from Herr-Voss after 35 years of service. He owned and bred horses. Cliff also served as a volunteer fireman for the Callery VFD.

He loved playing baseball, attending flea markets, and mowing grass. He was also an avid hunter and belonged to the Mars Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed cheering on the Black and Gold.

Above all, Cliff was a generous and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was most proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Cliff leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 64 years, Dana Warren Beers; his children, Mitchel (Kathleen) Beers of Butler, Connie (Jerry) Simpson of Callery, Mark Beers of Butler, and Nathan (Jenny) Beers of Callery; his grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Eger, Megan Beers, Benjamin Beers, Delaney Beers, Michael Beers, Natalie (Zach) McDaniel, Katie Beers, Brody (Katie) Welch, Brice Welch, Brandie Welch, Todd (Lindsey) Walker, Andrew Beers, Kellianne Beers and Chloe Beers; his great-grandchildren, Kamden Walker, Kaden Walker, Emma Eger, Baker Onufer, Crew Onufer and Coraline Beers; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Franklin “Frank” W. Beers and Charles Leroy Beers; and his sisters, Bernadette Neal and Betty Roe.

BEERS — Services for Clifford E. Beers, who died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, will be held privately by the family with Pastor Gregg Hartung officiating.

Cliff will be laid to rest at Evans City Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his honor to Crestview Community Church, P.O. Box Aa, Callery, PA 16024.
